A little about the author of this blog:
I grew up in rural Washington State on a small family farm were I was lucky enough to live with nature in an area of little urban development. My mother and father preached to me from the time I was a little boy until now about the importance of recycling, composting, and general environmentally sound ways of living. They had solar panels on their home in 1982 which are still working great supplying solar energy for hot water and electricity. This is over 27 years ago, when there was little information or products available to live “Green”. Growing up and seeing how alternative energy can work and save not only money, but the environment, has made me want to help in any way possible to inform others of the availability of Green power.
I strongly believe that we must do whatever necessary to preserve our world that we have almost destroyed to the point of no repair. Without better conservation and use of alternative energy to replace current energy sources, the future of our world is bleak. We are the generation that Must start to reverse this Global Warming so that or children and grand children can enjoy the world that we love.
